Derrière la pochette sobre (une simple branche, d'olivier ou de laurier, je ne suis pas sûr) se cache un black metal qui nous pousse dans nos derniers retranchements. Rassemblant sous une même bannière un growl féroce ("No death") et prières ("God is"), Reverorum ib Malacht ouvre un vertige absolu avec sa réverbération de cathédrale. L'illumination est à ce prix. Favorite track: God is.

Saffron Robe Ahh, the mysterious and inimitable Reverorum ib Malacht. You can’t go much wrong with this band. “Demo '09“ and "De Mysteriis Dom Christi" are indelible classics and this release matches those same high standards.

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
