Likpredikan, le sermon sur les cadavres (sur la mort en général ?). Reverorum Ib Malacht, au début de sa carrière, explore surtout les territoires du dark ambiant : cette démo, constituée de deux longues pièces, se situe dans ce courant musical. La première partie installe une atmosphère étouffante par ses percussions régulières, parfois cardiaques ; la seconde, plus minimaliste encore, réduit la musique à un simple squelette. This would have been highly impressive as a full length debut but Tiamtü was released first. But who cares? I'm just glad that this gem of orthodox black metal with its great bleak and occult feel and energy finally was remastered and released. mourner
